Details of the expropriation of 7 plots of land covering more than 18,000 square meters for the expansion of Ibn Battuta Complex in Tangier.

As part of the project to expand the Ibn Battuta Sports Complex, Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch issued Decree No. 2.26.189 dated 14 Shawwal 1447 (corresponding to April 2, 2026), which provides for the declaration of public utility and the expropriation of seven plots of land located in the Tangier municipality in the Tangier-Asilah region.

This decree follows an extensive administrative investigation that lasted from March 12 to May 14, 2025, and was proposed by the Minister of Economy and Finance after consulting the Minister of the Interior.
