Orange Level Warning Bulletin Between Tuesday and Thursday

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects to record strong showers or rains, along with strong gusts of wind, from today, Tuesday, until after tomorrow, Thursday, in several regions of the kingdom.

The Directorate clarified, in an alert bulletin of “orange” vigilance level, that strong showers or rains are expected to measure between 60 and 95 mm in the provinces and regions of Chefchaouen, Tetouan, and Larache, and between 40 and 60 mm in each of Taounate, Al Hoceima, Wazan, Sefrou, Taza, and the areas of Al Hoceima, Tangier, Asilah, M’diq, Fnideq, and Ifran, starting today, Tuesday, at noon until Thursday at midnight.

The Directorate also expects to record strong gusts of wind (between 75 and 95 km/h) in Chefchaouen, Berkane, Al Hoceima, Oujda Angad, Nador, Guercif, Driouch, M’diq, Fnideq, Tetouan, Taourirt, Boulemane, Taza, Moulay Yacoub, Tata, Ouarzazate, Figuig, Jerada, Wazan, Tangier, Asilah, Taroudannt, Tiznit, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Larache, Taounate, Tinghir, and Kenitra, starting today, Tuesday, at noon until Thursday at midnight.

Strong gusts of wind (between 70 and 80 km/h) are also expected in the provinces of Mohammedia, Sidi Bennour, Casablanca, Benslimane, Berrechid, Rabat, Salé, Temara, and Skhirat, as well as in El Jadida, Safi, Nwaasir, and Mediouna, today, Tuesday, from noon until 6 PM.
