The General Directorate of Meteorology expects that today, Saturday, the weather will generally be relatively cold to cold in the mountainous areas, the southeast of the country, the eastern region, and the high plateaus, with the occurrence of frost or what is called “the injury.”
It is also expected that the atmosphere will be partly cloudy accompanied by occasional drops or scattered rain in the Middle Atlas, the Saïss, Oulmès, the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, and the northern internal plains, with snowfall in the Middle Atlas, in addition to somewhat strong winds in the Mediterranean coast and the northern shores, and southern eastern region.
Temperatures will range from -1 to 7 degrees in the mountainous areas of the Atlas, from 2 to 5 degrees in the Rif and the eastern high plateaus, from 10 to 13 degrees in the south of the country and near the coasts, and from 6 to 10 degrees in the remaining areas of the kingdom. As for daytime temperatures, they will decrease.
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean coast, slightly choppy to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and very rough to extremely rough between Larache and Tantan, as well as rough to very rough along the rest of the coasts, locally slightly choppy to rough between Tarfaya and Laayoune.
