The Spanish National Police issued an AI-generated video of a suspect named Jesus Heridia, requesting assistance from citizens to identify him and locate him.
The wanted man has completely changed his appearance, prompting the police to focus on the distinctive tattoos on his body. The video also shows different versions of his current face: with various hairstyles, bald, and with or without glasses.

Heridia, hailing from Algeciras, is considered one of the prominent drug traffickers in Spain. He did not return to prison after being granted parole following his arrest in Chiclana in 2020, and it is believed he exploited this permission to disappear completely.
According to the investigations, it is likely that Heridia is hiding in Morocco, where he is suspected to be with the one known as “Messi of Cannabis,” with whom Heridia worked as his right-hand man in coordinating cannabis smuggling operations across the Strait of Gibraltar.
Heridia managed to flee before the trial of the “Rúa Mar” case, which concerns the sinking of a fishing boat carrying tons of cannabis, resulting in the death of six fishermen. Heridia is suspected of being involved in this operation, but he did not appear before the court, which reinforced his status as a fugitive from justice.
The Spanish police urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the authorities immediately, emphasizing that the release of these AI-modified images aims to facilitate identification of him anywhere he may appear.
