Christopher Wray also delivered a speech expressing thanks and gratitude to representatives of foreign security agencies for their effective contribution to the security system of the World Cup hosted by the United States, recalling the utmost importance of international partnership and multilateral cooperation in the field of intelligence information exchange.

In this context, the Deputy Director of the FBI highlighted the organizational and security challenges represented by securing 78 major matches intensively over nearly two weeks, affirming that achieving effective and inclusive security remains impossible without close international cooperation.
