The regional academy for education and training in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region announced today, Wednesday, the final results for the regular session of the 2026 baccalaureate exam, amidst remarkable excellence by the student Salma Alghazi, who recorded the highest score in the region and nationally at 19.46.
Salma Alghazi, a student at the Sharif Idrisi secondary school in Tetouan, achieved exceptional success in the national unified exam for obtaining the baccalaureate diploma, achieving the highest score in the region, a feat that reflects a high level of diligence and academic excellence.
Major Results Indicators in the Region:
- Number of successful school students: 24,579 candidates with a success rate of 59.54%.
- Total number of successful candidates (school students + free candidates): 26,401 successful candidates.
- Number of successful females: 16,327 (representing a large percentage of the success).
- Number of candidates with honors: 12,692 candidates (48.07% of the successful candidates).
- Attendance rate among school students: 97.20% (41,284 present).
- Success rate for free candidates: 37.90%.
The category of candidates with disabilities achieved a success rate of 60% after benefiting from the necessary accommodations.
Retrial Session
15,182 candidates from school students and 2,867 from free candidates will take the retrial session on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026, with results to be announced on July 11, 2026.
