The security services detained a young man after he was seen offering an alcoholic drink to his underage brother, just days after a similar incident shook Morocco during the Aïd al-Adha period.
The national security services opened an investigation after reviewing a video posted on a social media account, documenting a person providing alcoholic substances to a minor in circumstances that threaten his health and expose him to the risks of addiction.
The technical research conducted allowed for the identification of the suspect involved in this case, before security interventions, coordinated with elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, led to his arrest in the Douar “Qasr Tayba” on the outskirts of the city of Rish.
Investigative procedures clarified that the minor appearing in the posted video is the brother of the suspect involved in committing these criminal acts.
The suspect has been subjected to police custody pending the judicial investigation ordered by the competent public prosecution, in order to uncover all circumstances, details, and backgrounds of this case.
