The Royal Moroccan Football Federation concluded its meeting on Friday, June 5, 2026, without deciding on the election of a new president or the renewal of Fouzi Lekjaa’s term.

According to information, it was decided during the meeting to postpone the election of a president until a later time.

In his speech, Lekjaa stated that this meeting is part of the continuation of the reform projects that Moroccan football is experiencing.

The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation expressed his gratitude to King Mohammed VI for the special attention His Majesty gives to national football, and for his ongoing supervision of various related projects and initiatives, emphasizing that this royal attention is a source of support and motivation for all stakeholders in the sector.
