Three diplomats told Reuters that some individuals were advised to leave the Al Udeid Air Base of the U.S. Army in Qatar by Wednesday evening.
The Al Udeid base is the largest U.S. base in the Middle East, housing about 10,000 soldiers. Prior to the U.S. airstrikes on Iran in June, some individuals were relocated from U.S. bases in the Middle East.
