The Senegalese federation and the national team coach, along with two players, appeared before the disciplinary arbitration body of the African Football Confederation on Tuesday, January 27, to decide on submitting the case for deliberation, with a deadline of 48 hours to issue a decision.
The Senegalese Football Federation confirmed its appearance before the body following reports from match officials, as well as the protests submitted by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation at the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations final Morocco 2025.
The Senegalese federation appeared before the body, along with coach Pape Thiaw, who incited the players to withdraw from the final match against Morocco, in addition to players Ismaila Sarr and Eliman Nday.
