The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, confirmed Morocco’s aspirations for the future and the continuation of efforts to promote sports development and enhance the global standing of the kingdom, especially in the field of football.
After the parliamentarians praised the achievements made in the African Cup regarding organization as well as the performance of the Moroccan national team, Lekjaa responded by emphasizing the importance of the support that King Mohammed VI provides to this sector, his close monitoring of it, and his leadership of the developmental path in general.
The President of the federation stressed that this royal support will only increase the ambitions of Moroccan youth and motivate them to work on enhancing sports development and Morocco’s global standing.
Despite the brief commentary, Lekjaa’s words carried a message of determination and challenge to continue the Moroccan strategy in this field; Morocco has become a key player, which is causing concern among allies before enemies. This has led to significant controversy and rumors, reflecting discomfort with its advanced position on the African continent.
