These strong winds will affect Driouch, Figuig, Azilal, Ifrane, Larache, Tetouan, Mdiq-Fnideq, Sidi Kacem, Tinghir, Sidi Slimane, Ben Slimane, Berrechid, Khouribga, Settat, Barkan, Jerada, Nador, and Oujda Angad, as well as Taourirt, Casablanca, Mediouna, Mohammedia, Nouaceur, Khemisset, Rabat, Sale, Temara, and El Jadida.
The same phenomenon will also affect Asfi, Sidi Bennour, Beni Mellal, El Fiqih Ben Salah, Meknes, El Hajab, Khénifra, Fez, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Wazan, Ouarzazate, Al Fass-Anjara, Chefchaouen, Taza, Jerfess, Al Hoceima, Boulemane, Midelt, Al Haouz, Taroudant, Guelmim, Sefrou, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, and Kenitra.
The Directorate added that heavy rain is also expected at times with thunderstorms, measuring between 35 and 60 mm, in the provinces and regions of Mdiq, Fnideq, Khemisset, Beni Mellal, Meknes, El Hajab, Ifrane, Khénifra, Fez, Sefrou, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Taza, Chefchaouen, Al Fass-Anjara, Wazan, and Tetouan. This will start today, Friday, from ten in the morning until noon tomorrow, Saturday.
It is also expected to record the same phenomenon (ranging from 20 to 35 mm) during the same time period in Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Kenitra, Driouch, Rahamna, Qalat Sraghna, Al Haouz, Settat, Berrechid, Khouribga, Tangier, Asilah, Larache, Al Hoceima, El Fiqih Ben Salah, Azilal, Temara, Sale, Rabat, Nouaceur, Mohammedia, Mediouna, Casablanca, and Ben Slimane.
The Directorate also predicts snowfall starting from elevations of 1200 meters, measuring between 20 and 50 cm in Taroudant, Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, Khénifra, Midelt, Boulemane, Jerfess, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Sefrou, and Taza, and between 10 and 15 cm in Chefchaouen, Chichaoua, Taourirt, and Al Hoceima. This will occur from noon today, Friday, until noon tomorrow, Saturday.
Additionally, cold weather (between minus 03 and minus 08) is expected in the provinces and regions of Midelt, Boulemane, Sefrou, Jerfess, Taza, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Tinghir, Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, Khénifra, and Chichaoua. This will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
