Orange Level Warning Bulletin Including Tangier and Rabat

The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that snowy precipitation and thunderstorms are expected to begin today, Wednesday, in several regions of the Kingdom.

The Directorate clarified, in an alert bulletin at an “orange” vigilance level, that snowy precipitation is expected starting from elevations of 1700 meters (ranging between 10 and 20 cm), particularly in the provinces and regions of Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, and Midelt, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. today, Wednesday.

The same source added, in an alert bulletin at an “orange” vigilance level, that thunderstorms are also expected, with precipitation measurements ranging from 20 to 30 mm, in the provinces and regions of Salé, Kenitra, Khémisset, Rabat, M’diq-Fnideq, Tangier-Assilah, Tetouan, Larache, and Fahs-Anjra, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday.
