In a pleasant surprise for her fans around the world, global pop icon Madonna shared pictures from her holiday in Morocco, where she is spending peaceful days in a luxurious historical riad, celebrating the upcoming New Year 2026.
The 67-year-old American star posted many photos across social media platforms, including 16 iconic images, showing her enjoying traditional Moroccan tea rituals and lighting candles at sunset, in an atmosphere that combines luxury, local heritage, and family vibes.
The photos show Madonna wearing fur coats and elegant hats, even though temperatures in Morocco during December range between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius, reflecting her bold and distinctive fashion style. It seems she is accompanied by the famous designer Anthony Vaccarello, the creative director of Saint Laurent, who shares a long friendship and past artistic collaborations with her.
The journey began with a private visit to the city of Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco, where the president of the Regional Tourism Council for Fez-Meknes, Ahmed Sentissi, confirmed that the visit went smoothly without any incidents. Madonna then moved to Marrakech, a city she particularly loves, where she celebrated her 60th birthday in 2018.
The posts received huge engagement, with comments from fans expressing their admiration for the beauty of the photos and her elegance.
This break comes at a time when fans are eagerly awaiting the release of her new album “Confessions on a Dancefloor Part 2,” scheduled for 2026, which is considered a sequel to her successful 2005 album, in collaboration with producer Stuart Price.
It is worth mentioning that Madonna has a special relationship with Morocco, as she repeatedly chooses it for relaxation and cultural inspiration, enhancing the kingdom’s appeal as a tourist destination for global stars.
