The General Directorate of Meteorology expects that today, Wednesday, the overall weather conditions will be characterized by relatively cold to cold weather accompanied by frost, particularly over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the high plateaus.
It is anticipated that the sky will be cloudy with rain falling over the plains north of Safi, the Saïs region, the phosphate plateaus, and El Milh.
The sky will also be cloudy with recorded rain or showers in the Rif, the west, the Middle Atlas, and the western Mediterranean coast during the night.
It is also expected that snow will fall over the peaks of the Greater and Middle Atlas, with somewhat strong wind gusts along the northern Atlantic coasts.
Minimum temperatures will range between minus 4 and 0 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, and between 8 and 12 degrees in other regions.
As for daytime temperatures, there will be an increase in the central plains, the southeastern region, and the desert areas of the kingdom, with a slight decrease recorded in other regions.
The sea will be calm along the Mediterranean coast, calm to slightly turbulent in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly turbulent to rough along the Atlantic coast.
