Morocco Increases Financial Aid for First Three Children

The Ministerial Council chaired by King Mohammed VI on Sunday, October 19, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, announced that the 2026 Finance Law aims to accelerate the “Morocco Rising” initiatives.

The law seeks to achieve national development that combines social justice with integrated regional development, serving all citizens equally.

To this end, the royal project to generalize social protection will continue, along with the implementation of a direct social support program benefiting 4 million families.

The monthly allowances for children will be increased by amounts ranging from 50 to 100 dirhams for the first three children. This includes activating support for orphaned and abandoned children residing in social care institutions.

Additionally, other elements of this initiative will be activated, notably expanding participation in pension systems and generalizing unemployment benefits. Furthermore, the direct support program for acquiring primary housing will be continued.
