The Governor of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Younes El Tazi, has revealed serious violations at the Regional Agency for Project Implementation. During a statement made on Monday, July 7, he noted that there have been “serious concerns” raised about the agency’s operations. He stressed that the current situation within this institution is unacceptable and must be addressed.
According to the governor, the issues have escalated to the point where projects have been undertaken that do not align with the council’s objectives and are not included in approved agreements. El Tazi has called for an immediate halt to these practices, urging those unwilling to cooperate to withdraw, especially since the agency has received substantial support from the regional government and other stakeholders.
