The French national team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup, after defeating their Moroccan counterpart by a clean two-goal score, in a strong match held this evening as part of the quarter-finals of the tournament.
French star Kylian Mbappé scored the first goal in the 60th minute, capitalizing on a decisive pass to give the “Roosters” the lead. Just six minutes later, Oussama Dembélé added the second goal in the 66th minute, securing the match for France and ending Morocco’s hopes of continuing in the tournament.
With this result, the Moroccan team bid farewell to the tournament after a remarkable historical journey, having impressed fans in the previous rounds. In contrast, France secured its place in the final four, hoping to defend its title or compete vigorously for the world championship for the second consecutive time.
