Mahdi Hijawi Provides Evidence of the Involvement of Hicham Girando’s Mother (Video)

The “Atlas Hacks” group has published the eighth episode of a series of leaked audio recordings and text conversations attributed to Mahdi Hijawi, the former employee of the external intelligence agency (DGED), and TikToker Hicham Gerindo.

This new leak provides “unprecedented” evidence of Gerindo’s mother’s involvement in the network accused of defamation and extortion, thereby reinforcing the suspicions raised about her recently.

According to the contents of the leak, an audio recording reveals Mahdi Hijawi discussing with Gerindo the monthly transfer of money to his mother, in a context interpreted as ongoing funding linked to the network’s activities.

This evidence is considered confirmation of previous accusations directed at the family and highlights Gerindo’s continuing entanglement of family members in his criminal activities, including extortion, defamation, and threats to the stability of the country.

Continued Targeting of DGED Officials

The leak includes Mahdi Hijawi’s ongoing provision of information and news to Gerindo aimed at mocking and pressuring the officials of the external intelligence directorate, headed by its director Yassine El Mansouri.

The leak also addresses the period of the release of journalists and activists, where Hijawi claims that his former superiors were not satisfied with the royal pardon.

Unmasking an Incapable Network

Thus far, the leaks from Atlas Hacks have revealed the nature of the relationship between the two parties and the threads of this network, which resorted to defamation and extortion after admitting its inability to confront the authorities.

  • The initial episodes focused on hacking conversations between Gerindo and a Moroccan judge (Judge “W.A.” of the criminal court in Ain Sebaâ), sparking widespread debate over attempts at pressure and extortion. It also revealed an attempt to recruit Gerindo by a person named Mohammed Ouedidi (known as “Majd Al-Baroudi” or “Majd Baroudi”), who impersonated an employee of DGED to get close to him.
  • The episode that included the first direct recording between Hijawi and Gerindo (published around mid-June 2026): revealed the beginning of secret communication between them in early 2024 at Hijawi’s initiative after moving to Canada. The recording showed Hijawi expressing his annoyance at Gerindo’s posts, urging him not to mention his name, admitting his inability to act immediately (“he has no tools”), and waiting for “the right moment” he referred to as “THE MOMENT,” focusing on the “Fassi style” strategy (precision and patience).
  • An episode dictating content to Gerindo: showed Hijawi dictating word for word to Gerindo content of offensive videos targeting Yassine El Mansouri (director of external intelligence) and his friend Moulay Hassan, as well as the security chief of Tetouan, with accusations of failure, corruption, and exploiting personal issues. It also included a display of weapons and an agreement on campaigns against other figures.
  • Other episodes: included revelations about a campaign targeting “Abu Zaiter’s” partner, the appearance of the name Abdullah Al-Munbari (nicknamed “Messi of Hashish”) in the conversations, in addition to threats of a significant event in August from Canada.
  • The seventh episode (published on July 1, 2026): focused on Gerindo’s difficult financial and legal situation in Canada due to defamation and extortion lawsuits filed against him, where he stated — “I’m pharaonic with expenses” due to attorney fees and fines. It revealed delays in financial assistance and mentioned the “trio” accused (Dr. Mustafa Aziz, Mahdi Hijawi, and Hicham Gerindo). It also highlighted the involvement of a Moroccan consul (Souria Al-Jabri) in providing assistance to Hijawi through a grant to a person named “Badr” at Gerindo’s request.

The eighth episode comes as a natural extension of this series, portraying Hijawi as the “godfather” or main guide, while Gerindo appears as the “pawn” or executor who receives instructions and disseminates offensive content on social media.

The new leaks confirm the ongoing attempts to involve the family (Gerindo’s mother) in financing and activities, thus expanding the scope of accusations from digital defamation to broader financial and security issues.

It is noted that Hijawi presents himself as a defector from the agency, while there is an international arrest warrant against him on charges of fraud and swindling, according to previous reports. As for Gerindo, he faces legal issues in Canada related to his content.
