On Thursday, it was announced that the body of a man was found inside the landing gear of an Air Arabia plane that landed at Gatwick Airport in the UK, coming from Tangier last Tuesday.
Emergency services were called after the body was discovered in the lower part of the aircraft, which landed around 11:45 AM British time.
A spokesperson for West Sussex Airport (Gatwick) confirmed the incident, noting that airport teams are providing support to the police and coroner in their investigations.
The airport spokesperson stated: “A body was found, and our teams subsequently supported Sussex Police and the coroner. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this incident.”
