The student Omar Dahab, who was studying at an educational institution affiliated with the regional directorate of the Ministry of National Education in Ain Sebaa – Hay Mohammadi in Casablanca, achieved an outstanding academic path by recording the highest average nationally in the regular session of the national unified exam for obtaining the baccalaureate diploma 2026, where he obtained an average of 19.76 out of 20 in the Mathematics Sciences (B) stream with a French option.

Omar Dahab, who is 17 years old, celebrated this achievement after several years of hard work and perseverance, thus confirming the academic excellence he has shown throughout his educational career.

In a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency, this outstanding young man expressed great pride in this exceptional result, confirming his overwhelming joy upon the announcement of being awarded the highest national average, which he considered something hard to imagine despite his confidence in achieving a good result.

He affirmed that this success is the result of diligent work that he started at the beginning of the school year, expressing his pride in the joy and support shown by his parents, colleagues, and his environment to achieve this accomplishment.

Regarding his higher education, Dahab stated that he wishes to pursue academic training in the fields of medicine or engineering, pointing out his particular interest in these areas, but he is still continuing to think about choosing the specialization that will define his future path.

For his part, Abdul Rahman Al-Halou, the director of the educational institution where the student studies, praised the distinguished performance achieved by this outstanding young man, considering that this award is a significant achievement and an exemplary model of academic excellence.

He emphasized that this success represents the result of continuous effort exerted throughout the school year, indeed over years of learning, highlighting this student’s personal desire to achieve this commendable result, as well as his discipline, exemplary behavior, and continuous diligence.

He also praised the role played by his family and teachers, along with the entire educational and administrative staff in achieving this good result.

It is noted that the number of successful students in the regular session of the national unified exam for obtaining the baccalaureate diploma for the June 2026 session in the Casablanca-Settat region reached a total of 61,580 candidates from public and private education, with an overall success rate of 65.79 percent.
