The Moroccan national team, hosting and supported by the audience, achieved a wide victory with a score of 3-0 against Zambia in the third and final round of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, securing the top spot in Group A and qualifying for the Round of 16.
The “Atlas Lions” controlled the course of the match from the beginning, with Ayoub El Kaabi scoring the first goal in the 9th minute with a header from a pass by Azzedine Ounahi. Brahim Diaz added the second goal in the 27th minute after a pass from Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.
In the second half, El Kaabi returned to complete the hat trick in the 50th minute with a wonderful shot, maintaining his brilliance in the tournament.
With this victory, Morocco raised its tally to 7 points at the top of the group, while Zambia exited the tournament early, remaining frozen at just 2 points.
