The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that heavy snow and sometimes thunderstorms are expected from tomorrow, Friday, to next Sunday, in several regions of the kingdom.
The Directorate clarified, in an orange alert bulletin, that snow accumulations (starting from 1400 meters) are expected to reach between 30 to 50 cm in the provinces of Midelt, Ouarzazate, and Tinghir, and between 10 to 30 cm in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Al Haouz, and Taroudant, from tomorrow Friday at twelve noon until next Sunday at six in the morning.
The same source added that heavy rain, sometimes with thunderstorms, is also expected in the provinces of Tiznit, Tantan, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni, and Tarfaya, from tomorrow Friday at twelve noon until Saturday at six in the morning.
