The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, has decided to grant an exceptional promotion to a police officer, ranking as Chief Police Officer, who worked in the urban agency in the municipality of Salé. The officer passed away due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident while performing his duties to ensure citizens’ safety and protect their property.
The Director General has instructed the central services responsible for human resources to record this exceptional promotion to the rank of Security Officer in the deceased’s employment record, along with its benefits for his family. He also directed the provision of condolences to the family of the late officer and ensured they receive the necessary support during this tragic time.
Additionally, it has been decided to allow the officer’s widow to acquire a residential apartment as part of the initiative sponsored by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Employees. The family will also benefit from regular initiatives aimed at helping the widows and orphans of National Security employees.
This promotion, endorsed by the Director General, reflects the special care that the security institution provides to its personnel and underscores the considerable appreciation for the sacrifices made by the men and women of national security in serving their country.
