Will the Value of the Dirham Fall Against the Euro and Dollar at the Start of 2026?

The “AGR Research Center” reported that the uncertainty surrounding the decisions of the U.S. Federal Reserve is likely to exacerbate fluctuations in the value of the dollar and other currencies in the short term.

Regarding forecasts for the USD/AED currency pair over the next one, two, and three months, the center indicated that these predictions consider the euro to dollar exchange rate outlook, which favors an improvement in the euro’s value against the dollar over a three-month period, as well as liquidity conditions in the foreign exchange market.

Additionally, the center expects gradual tightening of the dirham’s liquidity margins over the one, two, and three-month outlooks.

Under these conditions, the target levels for the USD/AED pair are set at 9.16, 9.21, and 9.23 for one, two, and three months, respectively, compared to a current spot price of 9.28.

The target levels for the EUR/AED pair are expected to be 10.86, 10.91, and 10.94 over the next one, two, and three months, respectively, compared to a current spot level of 10.72.
