Death of Actor Mohammed Al-Razein

On Thursday, October 23, actor Mohamed Razine passed away at the age of 79. He is regarded as one of the Moroccan actors who made a significant impact on the artistic scene.

The late actor participated in numerous theatrical, television, and cinematic works. His talent shone through in both simple and complex roles.

He was among the first actors to engage in cinema in Morocco, notably participating in the film “Al Qanfoudi” directed by Nabil Lahlou in 1978, and “Al Sirab” (1979) by Ahmed Bouanani.

Razine was involved in various theater groups, including “Al Qina’a Al Saghir” and the National Theater of Mohammed V.

He took part in approximately twenty foreign cinematic and television works filmed in Morocco, including the film “One Thousand and One Nights” by French director Philippe Dubroca and the series “Al Injil.”

Razine’s death came two days after the passing of prominent Moroccan actor Abdelkader Mtaâ, who died at the age of 85 in Casablanca.
