In an exciting football evening at the Puskás Aréna in the Hungarian capital Budapest, Paris Saint-Germain succeeded in defending its title as champions of the UEFA Champions League for the 2025-2026 season, after defeating Arsenal of England 4-3 on penalties, following a tie of 1-1 at the end of regular and extra time.
With this victory, the Parisian team became the first club to achieve consecutive UEFA Champions League titles since Real Madrid did so years ago, confirming its dominance over the old continent in recent years.
