The Itqanaya community warned the residents of the potential rise in water levels in several neighborhoods due to heavy rainfall.
The community, in its warning, primarily targeted residents of low-lying areas at risk of flooding, alerting them to the danger to their safety in the event of rising water levels. They called for keeping away from danger zones and avoiding crossing watercourses and areas prone to water accumulation.
Tangier is currently under the influence of the storm Kristin, which is hitting the Strait of Gibraltar, causing very strong winds and heavy rains.
