The judicial police of the Salé New City security precinct have opened a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to determine the circumstances and details of this crime.
According to preliminary investigation information, security services began examining the body of a woman who was with the accused police inspector inside his personal residence and showed signs of a gunshot wound from a service pistol. The motives behind this incident are currently being established.
Scientific and technical police units have been assigned to conduct the necessary ballistic examinations. Meanwhile, the victim’s body has been transferred to the local hospital for autopsy. Ongoing investigations are being conducted to uncover the true circumstances surrounding this case.
In a similar incident, a police officer working in the motorcycle unit committed a homicide on the night of Friday, October 17, in Casablanca, using his service weapon against a woman he knew, who was with him in a private vehicle.
