The French Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, during his current official visit to Rabat, announced the imminent signing of an “extraordinary” friendship treaty between France and Morocco, which will exceed the level of the existing “exceptional partnership.”
Lecornu stated in comments made during the high-level meeting between Morocco and France in Rabat: “We look forward to signing an extraordinary friendship treaty that goes beyond the exceptional partnership,” indicating that this treaty will be signed during King Mohammed VI’s upcoming visit to France.
According to the French official, developing this relationship between the two countries is also in the interest and for the benefit of others, primarily the African continent.
