King Mohammed VI unveils Morocco and France’s intention to establish a new framework for cooperation.

King Mohammed VI revealed the direction of Morocco and France towards “establishing a new framework for cooperation,” in a telegram sent to French President Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of the national holiday on July 14.

In the telegram, the king stated, “The joint efforts of our two countries are heading towards establishing a new framework for cooperation, characterized, more and more, by a spirit of creativity, and by a strategic and structural dimension that encompasses multiple levels.”

The king said, “While I highly appreciate this direction, I would like to affirm to you the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to continue working with France, in the same spirit of friendship, trust, and commitment, to achieve the ambitious horizons that we have set – You and I – together for our two countries.”

In the same message, King Mohammed VI expressed his best wishes for prosperity to the French people, who share a historic friendship with the Moroccan people.

He stated, “Thanks to our shared will, Morocco and France have inaugurated a historic station in the path of strengthening their distinguished bilateral relations, aiming to elevate their exceptional partnership to an ideal level, as it is a fundamental factor for prosperity and a lever for a promising future.”
