The General Directorate of Meteorology expects that today, Thursday, the weather will generally be characterized by relatively cold conditions in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the eastern region, the southeastern region, and the high plateaus.
It is also expected that the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy in the far northwest and southeastern parts of the desert regions, in addition to the formation of foggy masses during the morning in the northwest of the southern regions.
Winds will occasionally be relatively strong along the Mediterranean coast and locally along the Atlantic coasts.
The minimum temperatures will range between minus 04 and 01 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 01 and 06 degrees in the Rif, southeastern regions, and high plateaus, between 11 and 17 degrees in the desert regions and near the coasts, and between 04 and 10 degrees in the rest of the kingdom.
As for daytime temperatures, they will decrease in the southeastern region, while they will increase or remain unchanged in the rest of the areas.
The sea will be slightly rough to rough along the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait of Gibraltar, and strong to very strong waves will be observed between Mahdia and Tarfaya, becoming rough to strongly rough in the afternoon, and rough to locally strongly rough north of Mahdia and south of Tarfaya.
