A reminder statement from the Minister of Interior indicated that the deadline for submitting registration requests for the general electoral lists in preparation for the upcoming general legislative elections will end today, Saturday, June 13, 2026, at exactly midnight.
The statement clarified that “as part of the process of reviewing the general electoral lists in preparation for the elections of the members of the House of Representatives scheduled to take place on September 23, 2026, the Minister of Interior reminds citizens who are not yet registered in the aforementioned lists, and who meet the legal requirements, being at least 18 complete solar years old or who will reach that age on September 23, 2026, that the deadline for submitting registration requests will end on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at exactly twelve (12) midnight.”
Furthermore, the same source added that “accordingly, they must submit their registration requests before the aforementioned deadline via the official website for the general electoral lists: www.listeselectorales.ma، or at the offices of the local administrative authority corresponding to their place of residence.”
The Minister of Interior also draws the attention of voters who have changed their actual residence outside the municipality or district they are registered in, to submit requests to transfer their registration to the list of the municipality or district where they have relocated, within the same deadline, through the mentioned website or at the offices of the local administrative authority corresponding to their new residence.
In this regard, any voter who has left the municipality or district where they were actually residing can verify the existence of their name in the list of the municipality or district they have moved to by sending a text message to the toll-free number 2727 or through the official website for the general electoral lists. If their name is not present, they must submit a registration request via the official website for the general electoral lists or at the offices of the local administrative authority corresponding to their new residence, before the end of the specified period for submitting registration and transfer requests, which is June 13, 2026, at exactly twelve (12) midnight at the latest.
As for voters who have changed their residence within the territorial jurisdiction of the same municipality or district, they must update their addresses included in the electoral list of the municipality or district they are residing in, within the mentioned deadline, through the official website for the general electoral lists or inform the local administrative authority of this.
