By instructions from King Mohammed VI, the Supreme Leader and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, Coordinator of the General Headquarters of the Royal Armed Forces, presided today, Thursday, over the graduation ceremony of the 26th cohort of the Higher Defense School and the 60th cohort of the Staff School at the Royal College of Higher Military Studies in Kenitra.
A statement from the General Headquarters of the Royal Armed Forces mentioned that, upon his arrival at the Royal College of Higher Military Studies, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan was greeted by His Royal Highness, the Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, the Commander of the Southern Region, and the Dean, Director of the Royal College of Higher Military Studies, before he reviewed a formation from the Royal Air Forces that rendered honors.
He was also greeted by the Chief of the Royal Gendarmerie, senior officers from the General Headquarters of the Royal Armed Forces, the Governor of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, the Prefect of the Kenitra province, the delegated commander of the military garrison in Kenitra, and the faculty members of the college.
After following a presentation on “The Contribution of the Royal Armed Forces in Peacekeeping Operations and Humanitarian Assistance at the International Level,” His Royal Highness oversaw the delivery of higher military education certificates culminating in a specialized master’s degree in national defense, as well as staff diplomas for Moroccan and foreign trainee officers from both the Higher Defense School and the Staff School.
Subsequently, the Dean, Director of the Royal College of Higher Military Studies, presented to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan the report on the achievements made by the trainees during the academic year, particularly a selected group of research conducted by the cohort of the Higher Defense School.
At the conclusion of this ceremony, commemorative photographs were taken with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan alongside the two graduating cohorts, the foreign trainees, and the civilian faculty members.
The 26th cohort of the Higher Defense School and the 60th cohort of the Staff School include 304 graduates, among them 88 officers from 32 countries.
