The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, today Wednesday, that the relatively cold weather will continue, locally cold in the Atlas, the Rif, as well as in the high plateaus, with snowfall over the great and medium Atlas starting from 1700 meters. Dense clouds will be observed, somewhat accompanied by rain or showers that might be thunderous in the areas of Tangier, the Rif, Loukkos, and the northern western region.
It is also expected that the sky will be partially cloudy, bringing rain to the Mediterranean coast, the Saïss, the great Atlas, the adjacent western plains, the southeast, and the phosphate plateaus and Oulmes.
As for the sky, it will be partially cloudy with sporadic drops in Souss, the medium Atlas, the adjacent western plains, the southeast, and the phosphate plateaus and Oulmes.
Strong gusts of wind are also expected, somewhat accompanied by local sand winds in the south.
The minimum temperatures are expected to range between minus 6 and 1 degree in the high Atlas, between 2 and 6 degrees in the Rif, the southeast, and the eastern region, between 12 and 16 degrees near the southern coasts, and will be between 6 and 12 degrees in other areas of the country.
As for daytime temperatures, a decrease will be observed across the entire kingdom.
The sea will be calm on the Mediterranean front, slightly rough to rough at the Strait of Gibraltar, rough to very rough between Tangier and Tantan, and slightly rough to rough on the other coasts.
