King Mohammed VI issued instructions on Friday, July 24, to hand over the Mohamed VI Professional Training Complex in building and public works, hospitality, tourism, and catering to the authorities of the Republic of Mali.
This complex, which has a covered area of 5,200 square meters in Bamako, was built by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sustainable Development and offers professional training that meets the needs of the labor market.
The complex particularly focuses on acquiring practical skills, combining theoretical training with field application, as well as the professional integration of youth.
This facility will be able to accommodate nearly 1,000 trainees annually in 21 training programs, distributed between 12 programs dedicated to building and public works, and 9 programs concerning the tourism, hospitality, and catering sectors.
During a visit to the Mohamed VI Professional Training Complex, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, emphasized that this royal initiative is part of the high concern that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, shows towards Malian youth and African youth in general.
He noted that this initiative embodies the royal vision aimed at establishing effective South-South cooperation, based on solidarity, sharing experiences, enhancing local capacities, and promoting sustainable human development in the service of African peoples.
The royal decision to hand over this complex to the Malian authorities received great appreciation from the Malian side.
On this occasion, the Minister of National Enterprise, Employment, and Professional Training, Mrs. Oumou Sal Sek, expressed the transitional president of the Republic of Mali, His Excellency General Assimi Goïta’s gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, for this significant initiative, which embodies the historical ties of brotherhood and solidarity that bind the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Mali.
She affirmed that this initiative responds to a strategic necessity for Mali in developing skills and strengthening human capital in essential sectors for the country’s economic and social development.
