Morocco Achieves the Title of the World Dance Cup

The Moroccan dancer Youssef has achieved a historic accomplishment by winning the gold medal in the Solo Senior Showstopper category at the World Dance Cup 2026, which concluded in the Irish capital, Dublin.

With this golden achievement, Youssef raised the flag of Morocco on the highest podium at the most prominent global dance competition, confirming Morocco’s status among the leading countries in the art of dance at the international level.

Youssef stated in a comment: “This moment means everything to me. Every sacrifice, every challenge, and every step in this journey has led me here. I am very proud to represent Morocco on the global stage.”

The champion expressed his deep gratitude to the Temps Danse Academy, which embraced and supported him throughout the preparation period, saying: “Thank you very much to tempsdansea for believing in me and standing by my side at every step. You are the ones who gave me the opportunity to represent your school on the global stage. This gold medal is for all of us.”

Youssef’s victory is a qualitative leap for Moroccan dance, marking the first global gold in this highly competitive category, and opening wide horizons for young Moroccan talents to compete at the highest levels.

The Dance World Cup is one of the most important and strong international competitions, where thousands of dancers from different continents participate, and it is held annually in a different city.
