The Director General of National Security and Territorial Monitoring, Abdellatif Hammouchi, oversaw the delivery of residential apartments for the benefit of ten widows of police officers (martyrs of duty), who lost their lives while carrying out their tasks.
The widows who benefited from the granted apartments were received on the morning of Tuesday, May 19, at the Open Doors event organized by the General Directorate of National Security in the city of Rabat.
An security source stated that this social initiative embodies the continuous care that the General Directorate of National Security provides for all its components, especially the orphans and widows of police officers who passed away while performing their professional duty.
Among the beneficiaries of the ten granted apartments are widows of police officers who died in criminal attacks, such as the case of the officer who died in the city of Imouzzer in a crime committed by a mentally ill person, and widows of officers who lost their lives in traffic accidents while performing their official duties.
It is noteworthy that the General Directorate of National Security has given great importance to improving the social conditions of national security personnel. It has reinforced the work of the Mohamed VI Foundation for Social Works for Security Personnel, providing it with all the necessary capabilities and resources to facilitate its mission of developing and improving health, social, and solidarity services provided to the women and men of the police and all their family members.
