Reportedly, Hakim Ziyech is nearing a transfer to Wydad Athletic Club, according to Radio Mars. This follows days of speculation within national football circles.
The 32-year-old Ziyech recently concluded his contract with Qatari club Al-Duhail and has been inactive for over five months, away from competitive play. During this time, he carefully considered his future options, and it appears he is set to join Wydad.
The former Chelsea star had previously engaged in advanced negotiations with Wydad during last winter’s transfer window, but the deal fell through due to disagreements over financial terms. Now, with those obstacles resolved, the transfer seems imminent.
