King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the Moroccan national under-20 football team following their victory in the FIFA U-20 World Cup (Chile 2025).
In the message, the King expressed, “We have followed with great joy and deep pride your heroic journey, culminating in your well-deserved victory in the U-20 World Cup (Chile 2025). It is a source of pleasure and pride for us to extend our warmest congratulations on this historic global achievement, the first of its kind in Moroccan football.”
The King highlighted, “We commend this athletic brilliance, the result of your high self-confidence and steadfast belief in your abilities and skills, as well as the spirit of unity and harmony you demonstrated, along with your impressive professionalism throughout the tournament. You honored your country and its youth and represented it and our African continent excellently.”
He added, “As much as you entertained and delighted football fans, you brought joy to us and to the entire Moroccan people, providing clear evidence of the talents and capabilities that our beloved nation possesses. You rose to the challenge and made history.”
In his message, the King also acknowledged the efforts of all members of the champion team, including coaches, players, technical and medical staff, and officials of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. He expressed high appreciation for their national pride and commitment to advancing Moroccan football’s rightful place at the pinnacle of global football success.
The King reiterated, “As we warmly congratulate you and sincerely thank you for gifting this prestigious title to your nation, we encourage you to continue on this promising path.
