The oldest person in the city of Tangier stalked a barber near his home in the “Ben Dibane” neighborhood and attacked him with a sharp weapon, in retaliation for his refusal to deal with him and not welcoming him in his shop located in the “Castilla” area the day before, according to the victim’s statement.
In correspondence with “Tangier 7”, the barber stated that the customer, who had been accustomed to coming to his shop for a long time, exaggerated in calling him on the phone and disturbing him before the Eid al-Adha holiday while the shop was experiencing a large influx. He ignored his calls and did not respond, which drove him to come to his shop and reprimand him for not answering and to set an appointment for welcoming him.
The barber added that the customer’s attack on him inside his shop ended with the intervention of those present and his removal from the place, but he was surprised to see him the next morning lurking near his home, where he pulled a knife from his clothes and attacked him with two stabs in retaliation for the refusal to welcome him and deal with him the night before.
The attack caused the barber a severe injury to the elbow, and he had to undergo two surgical operations in two different hospitals in Tangier, while he was issued a medical certificate indicating a disability duration of 50 days, which can be extended, due to the loss of sensation in his fingers and the ability to move them.
A complaint regarding this attack has been registered with the services of the seventh security precinct, accompanied by the medical certificate, a video of the attack, and the personal information of the assailant, who is still at large and has not been arrested until now.
