The primary court in Tangier issued a ruling of immediate imprisonment for social media activist Rashid Langri for one year.
On Thursday afternoon, February 12, the court sentenced Langri to prison after convicting him of the charge of public indecency, and imposed a fine of 500 dirhams.
In contrast, it was decided to acquit Langri of charges related to taking a share from the activities of a prostitution and sex trade network, and of bringing individuals for the purpose of prostitution and distributing pornographic materials.
