La choline est suppos\u00e9e prot\u00e9ger les cellules c\u00e9r\u00e9brales contre les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts, r\u00e9duisant ainsi le risque de la maladie. Les r\u00e9sultats indiquent que la choline contenue dans les \u0153ufs peut abaisser le risque de d\u00e9mence li\u00e9e \u00e0 Alzheimer jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 40 %.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont analys\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es de 1 024 personnes n\u2019ayant pas de d\u00e9mence, tout en tenant compte de leur consommation d&rsquo;\u0153ufs. Suivis pendant sept ans, ces participants ont subi des \u00e9valuations annuelles pour d\u00e9tecter des signes de d\u00e9mence. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que ceux consommant des \u0153ufs au moins une fois par semaine avaient moins de chances d&rsquo;\u00eatre diagnostiqu\u00e9s avec Alzheimer par rapport \u00e0 ceux qui en consommaient rarement. Pour les participants consommant des \u0153ufs une \u00e0 deux fois par semaine ou davantage, le risque d&rsquo;Alzheimer \u00e9tait r\u00e9duit de pr\u00e8s de 50 % par rapport \u00e0 ceux en consommant moins d&rsquo;une fois par mois.<\/p>\n<p>Les niveaux de choline \u00e9taient \u00e9galement significativement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s chez les participants qui continuaient \u00e0 consommer des \u0153ufs r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement au fil du temps.
