La FIFA a d\u00e9sign\u00e9 l’arbitre n\u00e9erlandais Danny Makkelie pour offici\u00e9 lors du match entre le Maroc et Ha\u00efti, pr\u00e9vu le 24 juin prochain au stade d’Atlanta, dans le cadre de la troisi\u00e8me et derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e des phases de groupes de la Coupe du Monde 2026.<\/p>\n

Makkelie sera assist\u00e9 dans cette rencontre par ses compatriotes Hessel Steegstra et Jan de Vries, tandis que le Portugais Jo\u00e3o Pinheiro assumera le r\u00f4le d’arbitre de quatri\u00e8me, et son compatriote Bruno Jesus sera l’arbitre assistant r\u00e9serve.<\/p>\n

Les \u00ab\u00a0Lions de l’Atlas\u00a0\u00bb abordent cette rencontre dans une position confortable, apr\u00e8s avoir fait match nul contre le Br\u00e9sil (1-1) lors de la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e, et avoir remport\u00e9 leur match contre l’\u00c9cosse (1-0) lors de la seconde journ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9quipe marocaine partage la premi\u00e8re place du groupe C avec l’\u00e9quipe br\u00e9silienne, totalisant quatre points, ce qui les place dans une bonne position dans la course \u00e0 la qualification pour le tour suivant.<\/p>\n

Arbitre<\/h2>\n

Makkelie a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re d’arbitre en 2005 mais a dirig\u00e9 des matches de la ligue n\u00e9erlandaise apr\u00e8s quatre ans de d\u00e9butant, avant de recevoir sa licence internationale en 2011 et de participer ensuite \u00e0 de nombreux tournois de football importants.<\/p>\n

En 2018, Makkelie a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 comme arbitre officiel pour la technologie de l’assistance vid\u00e9o et a offici\u00e9 plusieurs matches lors de la Coupe du Monde 2018, poursuivant sa pr\u00e9sence en dirigeant des rencontres durant la Coupe du Monde Qatar 2022, notamment entre l’Espagne et l’Allemagne, ainsi qu’entre la Pologne et l’Argentine.<\/p>\n

Le N\u00e9erlandais Makkelie travaille \u00e9galement dans la police n\u00e9erlandaise et a quarante-trois ans.<\/p>\n
