The police in Germany announced that at least three people were killed and several others injured after a regional passenger train derailed in a forested area in the southwest of the country on Sunday, July 27.<\/p>\n
Around 100 passengers were on board the train when the incident occurred at approximately 18:10 local time (16:10 UTC) near Reutlingen in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, about 100 kilometers south of Stuttgart.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the German police confirmed the deaths to AFP, adding that \u201cseveral people were injured.\u201d<\/p>\n
