The core components of inflation are expected to follow a similar trend.<\/p>\n<p>The central bank noted that these projections are surrounded by significant uncertainties. External factors include trade policies and the repercussions of geopolitical conflicts and tensions, while internal factors relate to the availability of agricultural products.<\/p>\n<p>The bank also reported a marked slowdown in inflation over the past few months, with the average rate falling from 2 percent in the first quarter of 2025 to 0.7 percent in April, and further declining to 0.4 percent in May.
