The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced the launch of new measures to unify and improve reception services in public hospitals, in a step aimed at facilitating citizens’ access to treatment, reducing waiting times, and improving the guidance of patients within health facilities.<\/p>\n
This came during a national meeting held on Saturday, July 25, at the regional hospital center in Zemouri, located in the city of Kenitra, which was dedicated to presenting the new national model for reception, as part of the urgent plan being implemented by the ministry to accelerate the reform of the health system.<\/p>\n
The project is based on creating a unified reception system that starts from the main entrance of the hospital, where employees are responsible for guiding patients and their companions toward the relevant departments, alongside establishing specialized reception points within the emergency, maternity, and diagnostic departments, with the aim of organizing the flow of users and avoiding confusion within health facilities.<\/p>\n
The project also includes the adoption of digital means to manage patient flow and the development of mechanisms to monitor the quality of services, in addition to training reception staff according to unified national standards.<\/p>\n
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Amin Al-Tahrawi, emphasized that the quality of reception is the first indicator of the quality of health services, stressing that the success of this initiative will not be measured by the number of training sessions or organizational guidelines, but by the extent to which citizens’ experiences improve within public hospitals.<\/p>\n
He added that the ministry aims to generalize a unified reception model across various health institutions, ensuring better guidance for patients, respecting their dignity, and enhancing trust in the public health facility.<\/p>\n
The ministry believes that this project will contribute to improving the conditions of reception for patients and their families, reducing waiting times, simplifying access to health services, as well as entrenching the principles of quality and humanization in various public hospitals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
