He did not return to prison after being granted parole following his arrest in Chiclana in 2020, and it is believed he exploited this permission to disappear completely.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigations, it is likely that Heridia is hiding in Morocco, where he is suspected to be with the one known as \u201cMessi of Cannabis,\u201d with whom Heridia worked as his right-hand man in coordinating cannabis smuggling operations across the Strait of Gibraltar.<\/p>\n<p>Heridia managed to flee before the trial of the \u201cR\u00faa Mar\u201d case, which concerns the sinking of a fishing boat carrying tons of cannabis, resulting in the death of six fishermen.
