The driver of the vehicle managed to escape to an unknown location, while the vehicle and the drugs were seized.<\/p>\n<p>The second operation was executed in close coordination with the services of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, at the entrance to the city of Souk El Arba\u00e2.<\/p>\n<p>This led to the arrest of a 31-year-old individual caught in possession of and attempting to smuggle 590 kilograms of hashish, which was also in a utility vehicle bearing forged license plates.<\/p>\n<p>The security assessment of the suspect revealed that he was the subject of a national search warrant issued by the judicial police services in Tangier, suspected of involvement in financial crime cases.
