{"id":12103,"date":"2026-06-08T22:23:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T21:23:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tanja7.com\/en\/12103"},"modified":"2026-06-08T22:23:25","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T21:23:25","slug":"announcement-of-simultaneous-security-operations-in-both-tangier-and-marrakech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tanja7.com\/en\/12103","title":{"rendered":"Announcement of Simultaneous Security Operations in Both Tangier and Marrakech"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In simultaneous security operations in the cities of Tangier and Marrakech on Monday, June 8, the national police, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, apprehended 11 individuals, including persons with dual Moroccan, French, Belgian, and Dutch nationalities, as well as a French citizen.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects were arrested after checks against the databases of the International Criminal Police Organization, &#8220;Interpol,&#8221; showed that 10 of them were the subject of red notices issued upon the request of judicial authorities in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>This involves six French citizens of Moroccan descent, who are the subject of search warrants issued by the French judiciary, for their involvement in criminal cases that vary from money laundering to membership in criminal organizations for drug trafficking, fraud, in addition to three Belgian citizens of Moroccan descent wanted by the Belgian judiciary for their involvement in international drug trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>Among those arrested during these qualitative security operations is also a Dutch citizen of Moroccan descent wanted internationally under a red notice for suspected involvement in international drug trafficking and money laundering.<\/p>\n<p>These operations also led to the arrest of a French citizen, who was found to be the subject of a national search warrant issued by the national judicial police for involvement in a case related to money laundering.<\/p>\n<p>The searches accompanying these arrests resulted in the seizure of a collection of watches, personal belongings, luxury cars, and motorcycles, as well as the confiscation of amounts of money in both national and foreign currencies, bank cards, mobile phones, cocaine doses, passports, and identification documents belonging to the suspects.<\/p>\n<p>The arrested individuals have been kept under police custody pending further investigations overseen by the competent public prosecutors, in order to question them about the criminal acts attributed to them in foreign official complaint files, which require them to be subjected to investigations and trials according to national legislation, given their Moroccan nationality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/news.google.com\/publications\/CAAqJAgKIh5DQklTRUFnTWFnd0tDblJoYm1waE55NWpiMjBvQUFQAQ?ceid=AE:ar&amp;oc=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Follow us on Google News<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tanja7.com\/187634\/\">>Content generated from the Arabic version of Tanja7.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In simultaneous security operations in the cities of Tangier and Marrakech on Monday, June 8, the national police, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, apprehended 11 individuals, including persons with dual Moroccan, French, Belgian, and Dutch nationalities, as well as a French citizen.
